Crisis and Resilience Fund launched to Support Lincolnshire Households with Increased Heating Oil Costs

Logo

A new Fund has been launched to help vulnerable households across Lincolnshire manage the increased cost of heating oil.

The Crisis & Resilience Fund (CRF), a UK Government initiative established locally by Lincolnshire County Council and delivered in partnership with Lincolnshire Community Foundation, is providing targeted financial assistance to residents most in need.

With households reliant on heating oil not covered by the national energy price cap, many are exposed to volatile price increases. In response, the fund aims to support over 5,000 eligible households with a one-off £300 voucher to help cover heating oil costs.

This initiative is designed to ensure vulnerable residents can continue to heat their homes and access hot water.

Who Can Apply

  • Household income below £36,000

  • Savings under £6,000, after oil costs

  • Use heating oil as the primary source of heating and hot water

  • Be at risk of losing access to heating or hot water

  • Be able to cover any remaining cost beyond the £300 voucher

Priority will be given to low-income households facing immediate need.

Important Information

  • Funding is limited to one application per household

  • Vouchers will be issued digitally via email, however if digitally isolated we can arrange for a copy to be sent via post.

  • Applications will be assessed by the Grants Team, with decisions typically provided within two working days

  • Not all applications will be successful, and decisions are final

  • Please note that Lincolnshire Community Foundation does not administer funds to households in North Lincolnshire or North East Lincolnshire.

How to Apply

Applicants are encouraged to carefully review the eligibility criteria before applying. Support is available for those needing assistance with the application process.
